Pauline Editions
Edizioni Paoline is a Catholic publishing house founded in 1914 by a religious institution called the Society of St. Paul, which promotes the dissemination of religious, spiritual and cultural texts.
Founder and Vision
Pauline Editions was founded by St. James Alberione. St. James Alberione was a priest and founder of several religious congregations, including the Society of St. Paul, whose publishing activities gave rise to Edizioni Paoline. His vision was to use modern media to spread the Gospel message by promoting culture and faith through books, magazines and other communication tools.
Tecla Merlo, born in 1934 and died in 2018, was one of the first members of the Opera Don Alberione (later called the Pauline Family) founded by St. James Alberione. Tecla Merlo has been involved in organizing and managing publishing activities, contributing significantly to the development and dissemination of the congregation’s publications.
